Ajmal Wardak,
D.D.S.
Ajmal Wardak, D.D.S., -President Dr. Wardak received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2001. He is the founder of UrgentDent. He opened our Munster office in 2006 and our Merrillville office in 2013. He is our lead doctor at UrgentDent. He oversees all of our dentist and is a great mentor to them. He is a part of the Global Medical Foundation, and provides nonprofit dental services to those in need. He has been providing Donated Dental Services through the Indiana Dental Association since 2012. He has continued his education and received his Fellowship for Implantology at the International Oral Implantology Institute, in 2010. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and past member of the Royal Dental College of Ontario. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
Dr. Djorovic received his Bachelor’s degree, in Biology, from Purdue University in 2007. He then continued on to receive his Master’s degree, in Biology from Purdue University in 2011. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2016. He has worked in the dental field for a local specialist for 8 years while continuing his own education. With his knowledge and skill, he enjoys treating all patients and is particularly interested in Oral Surgery and Endodontics.
Nikola Djorovic

Carla Brink, D.D.S.,
General Dentist
Dr. Brink received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1994. She went on to complete a general practice residency at the Medical College of Ohio in 1995. Her father and brother are also dentists. She has owned her own private practice since 1996. Dr. Brink enjoys treating children and those that are fearful of the dentist!
Dr. Ramez Saaweres is a gentle, caring dentist who makes patient comfort his top priority. He graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago where he received his DMD. Dr. Saweres’ practice is now focused on tooth extractions. We understand there can be stress associated with dental procedures – Dr. Saweres is trained to recognize this and always works to eliminate the anxiety associated with treatment. Dr. Saweres provides Oral sedation to his patients, if he feels it will make the person more comfortable. Dr. Saweres is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Ramez Saaweres
Elizabeth Alba
D.D.S.
Dr. Alba received her dental degree from Creighton University in 2009. She went on to complete an advanced education in general dentistry program at University of New Mexico. She practiced in Minnesota with a focus on geriatric dentistry prior to moving to Northwest Indiana. Dr. Alba enjoys working with patients to better understand the factors contributing to their oral health. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Alba spending time outside or hanging out with family.
Mr. Wardak, is the co-found and CEO of UrgentDent. He has been with UrgentDent, since we opened our doors in 2006. He is a natural born entrepreneur. He has managed multiple businesses for over 30 years. He oversees the progress and growth of UrgentDent. He stays involved in the office on a daily basis and is proud of the growth of our family operation. His ultimate goal is to serve the dental care need in our community with the highest standard of care. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and five children.

Mrs. Djorovic has been with UrgentDent since 2010. She oversees all our offices. She works closely with staff, supervisors and doctors to improve our office for our clients and keeps us up to date on the latest education and technology. She is a native to Munster & has worked in the dental field for over 14 years. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs! They enjoy Disney vacations and the Florida sun as much as possible!
